PI6C102-16 is a high-speed, low-noise, clock generator produced by Pericom Semiconductor. It works with Pericom's PI6C18x clock buffer to meet all clock needs for Mobile Intel Architecture platforms. CPU and chipset clock frequencies of 66.6 MHz and 100 MHz are supported.
The Pericom Semiconductor PI6C102-16 is a high-speed, low-noise spread spectrum clock generator designed for Mobile Intel Architecture platforms. It supports CPU and chipset clock frequencies of 66.6 MHz and 100 MHz using split supplies of 3.3V and 2.5V.
| Operation Frequency | 100 MHz or 66.6 MHz |
|---|---|
| Package Type | 28-pin SSOP |
| CPU Clock Outputs | Two copies with Vpp of 2.5V |
| PCI Clock Outputs | Six copies synchronous with CPU clock at 3.3V |
| Reference Clock Input | 14.31818 MHz |
| Additional Clock Output | 48 MHz at 3.3V |
| Power Supply Voltage | Split supplies of 3.3V and 2.5V |
The device supports CPU and chipset clock frequencies of 66.6 MHz and 100 MHz.
The SEL100/66# pin selects the frequency: High (H) sets it to 100 MHz, while Low (L) sets it to 66 MHz.
The power-on latency when exiting power-down mode is less than 3ms.
