This document details the functions and pin definitions of the 28-pin PCI-E interface, including PCI-E clock, control, power, etc. pins, as well as PCI-E bus structure and timing diagrams.
The Pericom PI6C103 is a high-speed, low-noise clock generator designed for Mobile Intel Architecture platforms. It supports system clock frequencies of 66.6 MHz and 100 MHz and provides multiple clock outputs, including two copies of the CPU clock, six copies of the PCI clock, and selectable 48/24 MHz outputs. The device utilizes split supplies of 3.3V and 2.5V to power different clock domains and includes spread spectrum clocking options.
