BR9080AF-W / BR9080ARFV-W / BR9080ARFVM-W / Memory ICs BR9016AF-W / BR9016ARFV-W / BR9016ARFVM-W are serial EEPROMs that can be connected directly to a serial port and can be electrically erased and written. Writing and reading is performed in word units, using four types of operation commands. Communication occurs though CS, SK, DI, and DO pins, WC pin control is used to initiate a write disabled state, enabling these EEPROMs to be used as one-time ROMs. During writing, operation is checked via the internal status check.
This document provides technical specifications for the ROHM BR9080A and BR9016A series of serial EEPROM memory ICs. These devices are designed for direct connection to serial ports and support electrical erasure and writing in word units using four types of operation commands.
Key features include single power supply operation, automatic erase-before-write functionality, low current consumption (3uA max standby), and built-in noise filtering on the SK pin. The chips offer high reliability with 100,000 erase/write cycles and 10 years data retention, available in SOP8, SSOP-B8, and MSOP8 packages.
| Capacity (BR9080A) | 512 words x 16 bits |
|---|---|
| Capacity (BR9016A) | 1024 words x 16bits |
| Erase/Write cycles | 100,000 ERASE / WRITE cycles |
| Data Retention | 10 years |
| Operating Temperature | -40~+85 °C |
| Supply Voltage (Write) | 2.7 - 5.5 Vv |
