The IS481/IS482 is a low voltage operating type (VCC:2.3-7.0V) and high sensitivity type optical diode. This device has a built-in Schmitt trigger circuit that can output a low level (IS481) and a high level (IS482).
This document provides technical specifications for the SHARP IS481 and IS482 OPIC (Optical IC) light detectors. These integrated chips combine a light-detecting element with signal-processing circuitry on a single chip, designed for battery-driven portable equipment requiring low voltage operation.
| Supply Voltage (Voc) | 2.3 to 7.0 V |
|---|---|
| Operating Temperature | -25 to +85 °C |
| Peak Sensitivity Wavelength | 900 nm |
| Typical Supply Current (IS481) | 5.4 mA |
| Total Power Dissipation | 80 mW |
The typical supply current for the IS481 is 5.4 mA at Ta=25 °C.
The supply voltage (Voc) should be between 2.3 V and 7.0 V.
