SA7026 is a low voltage fractional-N dual frequency synthesizer, designed for pocket phones powered by 3 NiCd cells. The synthesizer features low phase noise, low power consumption, and fully programmable main and auxiliary dividers.
The SA7026 is a BICMOS fractional‑N synthesizer designed for pocket‑phone and other low‑power wireless applications. It integrates programmable main, auxiliary and reference dividers, charge pumps, and a phase‑frequency detector, all operable from a 3 V supply.
Key features include a wide input frequency range (350‑1300 MHz VCO, 10‑550 MHz auxiliary, 5‑40 MHz reference), low phase noise, fast locking, split supply operation, and programmable dividers with ratios up to 65535. The device is supplied in a TSSOP20 package and operates from –40 °C to +85 °C.
| Digital supply voltage (Vop) | 2.7 V – 5.5 V |
|---|---|
| Total supply current (main + aux on) | up to 8.8 mA |
| VCO input frequency range | 350 MHz – 1300 MHz |
| Auxiliary input frequency range | 10 MHz – 550 MHz |
| Maximum phase comparator frequency | 4 MHz |
