ML9XX11, ML9XX16 and ML9XX22 series are DFB (Distributed Feedback) laser diodes emitting light beam with emission wavelength of 1470 ~ 1610 nm. They are well suited for light source in long distance digital transmission application of coarse WDM. They are hermetically sealed devices with the photo diode for optical output monitoring.
The ML9XX11, ML9XX16, and ML9XX22 series are distributed‑feedback (DFB) laser diodes designed for long‑distance digital transmission and coarse WDM applications. They emit light in the 1470 nm to 1610 nm range and are hermetically sealed with an integrated photodiode for optical output monitoring.
Key features include a homogeneous grating structure, wide temperature operation (0 °C to 85 °C), low typical threshold current (8 mA), high‑speed response (0.1‑0.2 ns rise/fall time), and a 5.6 mm TO‑CAN package. Electrical and optical specifications such as 10 mW continuous‑wave output power, 35‑40 dB side‑mode suppression ratio, and 0.20‑0.28 mW/mA slope efficiency are provided.
