About this manual

The TK716xx family is a low‑dropout linear regulator housed in a miniature SOT‑23‑5 package. It provides up to 500 mW of power with a typical dropout voltage of 90 mV at 50 mA load, selectable output voltages from 1.3 V to 5.4 V, and output‑tolerance options of ±1 % or ±2 %.

Designed for battery‑powered applications, the device features very low quiescent current, reverse‑bias protection, high ripple rejection (60 dB at 400 Hz) and low output noise. It is offered in several voltage codes and is suitable for portable instruments, cellular phones, toys, and other low‑voltage systems.
