About this manual

The ERA series includes 0402, 0603, 0805 and 1206 chip resistors with power ratings from 0.063 W to 0.25 W, TCR of +10 ppm/°C, and tolerance around ±10 %. They meet IEC 60115‑8, JIS C 5201‑8 and EIAJ RC‑2133A standards and are supplied in punched‑carrier or taped reels.

Safety and handling guidelines cover recommended soldering (preheat 140‑160 °C for 60‑120 s, peak up to 235 °C for ≤10 s), storage (5 °C‑35 °C, 45‑85 % RH), and precautions against moisture, static, and excessive mechanical stress. Packaging markings include part number, quantity and country of origin.

Frequently asked questions

How should the resistors be stored to keep their performance?

Store them at 5 °C‑35 °C and 45 %‑85 % relative humidity in their original packaging, avoiding salty air, direct sunlight and corrosive gases.

How is the rated continuous working voltage (RCWV) determined?

RCWV is the lesser of (Rated Power × Resistance Value) or the limiting element voltage listed for the part.
