This is the datasheet of IRK series high voltage power diodes. It introduces the features and characteristics of the products.
The IRK series Magn‑a‑pak™ power modules provide high voltage (up to 3000 V isolation) and high surge capability (up to 320 A) in an industrial‑standard package. They feature electrically isolated base plates for compact assemblies and can be used as freewheel diodes in single‑phase or three‑phase bridge configurations.
The bulletin lists extensive electrical ratings (peak reverse voltage, RMS forward current, surge current) and thermal‑mechanical data (junction‑to‑case resistance, operating temperature range, mounting guidelines). Ordering information and mechanical dimensions are also provided for design integration.

The IRK320 can handle a non‑repetitive surge current of 10 580 A at an 8.3 ms pulse.
