The MAX1236-MAX1239 low-power 12-bit multichannel analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) feature internal track/hold (T/H), voltage reference, clock, and an I2C-compatible 2-wire serial interface.
The MAX1236‑MAX1239 family provides low‑power, 12‑bit analog‑to‑digital conversion with internal track/hold, voltage reference, clock and a 2‑wire I²C‑compatible serial interface. Devices operate from a single supply of 2.7 V‑3.6 V (MAX1237/1239) or 4.5 V‑5.5 V (MAX1236/1238) and feature AutoShutdown to reduce supply current to sub‑picoamp levels at low throughput.
Key features include selectable 4‑channel (MAX1236/1237) or 12‑channel (MAX1238/1239) inputs, internal references of 2.048 V or 4.096 V, up to 94.4 ksps sampling rate, and small 8‑pin UMAX or 16‑pin QSOP packages. Detailed electrical characteristics, timing diagrams, pin descriptions and package dimensions are provided.
