The MAX1363/MAX1364 are low-power, 12-bit, 4-channel analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) featuring a digitally programmable window comparator with an interrupt output for automatic system-monitoring applications.
The MAX1363 and MAX1364 are low‑power, 12‑bit, 4‑channel analog‑to‑digital converters that include a digitally programmable window comparator and an interrupt output for system‑monitoring applications. They can operate from a single 2.7 V–3.6 V supply (MAX1363) or 4.5 V–5.5 V supply (MAX1364) and feature an internal reference, clock, and I²C‑compatible serial interface.
The devices support single‑ended or fully differential inputs, unipolar or bipolar operation, and provide SMBus alert response for quick identification of an alarming device. Key performance figures include up to 94.4 ksps conversion rate in normal mode and 133 ksps in monitor mode, with supply currents as low as 436 µA in monitor mode.
| Resolution | 12 bits |
|---|---|
| Supply Voltage | 2.7 V‑3.6 V (MAX1363) / 4.5 V‑5.5 V (MAX1364) |
| Internal Reference Voltage | 2.048 V (MAX1363) / 4.096 V (MAX1364) |
| Package Type | 10‑Pin UMAX |
The device draws 436 µA at the maximum sampling rate of 133 ksps in monitor mode.
Six I²C slave addresses are available.
The devices are specified over a –40 °C to +85 °C temperature range.
Both parts are offered in a 10‑pin UMAX package.
