This document introduces the uPSD Turbo series USB microcontroller development kit DK3400 released by STMicroelectronics. The kit is a demo board for the uPSD3400 family of microcontrollers, which feature a fast Turbo Plus 8032 core with a 16-bit code fetch path, full-speed USB port, large Dual Bank Flash memory, large SRAM, numerous peripherals, programmable logic, and a JTAG Debug/In System Programming (ISP) port. The DK3400 kit includes an ED3K4 module and DK3400 motherboard, as well as all the necessary items to explore the uPSD3400 MCU. It also provides demonstration application examples and an evaluation copy of the tools needed to develop and compile code for the uPSD3400.
