About this manual

The MCP6S21/2/6/8 family are single‑ended, rail‑to‑rail input/output programmable gain amplifiers with selectable gains from +1 V/V to +32 V/V. They support multiplexed inputs (1, 2, 6 or 8 channels), SPI control, low gain error (±1 % max) and low offset voltage (±275 µV max). The devices are offered in PDIP, SOIC, MSOP and TSSOP packages.

The datasheet provides detailed electrical specifications, including supply voltage range (2.5 V–5.5 V), quiescent current (0.5 mA–1.35 mA), bandwidth (2 MHz–12 MHz), input noise (10 nV/√Hz at 10 kHz), and temperature ranges (‑40 °C to +125 °C operating, ‑65 °C to +150 °C storage). Pin functions, SPI timing diagrams and shutdown behavior are also described.
