RF Solutions 008 Radio Receiver Decoder Handbook

The 008 range of general purpose radio receiver decoders. When used with a matching Keeloq Transmitter encoder, a complete Remote control system is generated. Each Rx decoder incorporates an 'easy learn' feature enabling it to learn the Transmitter encoder signature code as it is transmitted. Each 008 decoder is able to learn up to 50 individual Transmitter encoders (memorised even if the power is removed).

About this manual

The 008 series radio receiver decoders are general‑purpose units that work with matching Keeloq transmitter encoders to form a complete remote‑control system. Each decoder can learn up to 50 transmitter signatures, stores them without power, and offers momentary or latching relay outputs with LED status indication. The units are housed in a rugged IP65‑rated ABS enclosure and require only power and relay connections.

The handbook describes how to program the decoder, erase learned encoders, and operate the relays. It also lists the electrical characteristics, temperature ranges, dimensions, and available frequency options (315, 433, 868, 915 MHz). Contact information for RF Solutions Ltd. is provided for further assistance.

Frequently asked questions

How many transmitter encoders can the 008 decoder learn?

Each 008 decoder can learn up to 50 individual transmitter encoders, and the codes remain stored even if power is removed.

How do you erase all learned transmitter encoders from the decoder?

Press the programming switch (SW1) on the receiver decoder for 10 seconds; the learn LED will turn off to indicate that all encoders have been erased.
