The EH300/EH301 Series EPAD® Energy Harvesting Modules can accept energy from many types of electrical energy sources and store this energy to power conventional 3.3V and 5.0V electrical circuits and systems. They can work with instantaneous input voltages ranging from 0.0V to +/-500V AC or DC, and input currents from 200nA to 400mA from energy harvesting sources that produce electrical energy in either a steady or an intermittent and irregular manner with varying source impedances. EH300/EH301 Series Modules condition the stored energy and provide it to a load in the form of 3.3V or 5.0V.
The EH300/EH301 series modules are self‑powered energy‑harvesting devices that accept input voltages from 0 V to ±500 V AC/DC and currents from 200 nA to 400 mA. They store energy on an internal capacitor bank and provide regulated output voltages (1.8 V‑3.6 V or 3.1 V‑5.2 V) to power low‑power circuits such as microprocessors and sensors.
The modules are shipped ready to use, require no user setup, and include optional control pins for external management. Mechanical dimensions are 0.55 in × 2.00 in × 0.70 in, with four mounting holes and a weight of 0.5 oz. They operate from 0 °C to 70 °C and meet RoHS requirements.
