MAX4610/MAX4611/MAX4612 Low-Voltage, Quad, SPST CMOS Analog Switches
The MAX4610, MAX4611, and MAX4612 are quad, low‑voltage SPST analog switches offered by Maxim Integrated. They operate from a single +2 V to +12 V supply, provide TTL/CMOS‑compatible logic thresholds, and are available in automotive temperature range (-40 °C to +125 °C). The family includes four normally open switches (MAX4610), four normally closed switches (MAX4611), and a mixed two‑NO/two‑NC configuration (MAX4612).
The datasheet lists absolute maximum ratings, detailed electrical characteristics such as on‑resistance, leakage currents, and ESD protection, as well as pin configurations for multiple package types. It also gives guidance on power‑supply sequencing, protection diode usage, and ordering information.
| On‑Resistance (RON) max | 100 Ω |
|---|---|
| Channel match max | 4 Ω |
| Off‑Leakage Current max (25 °C) | 1 nA |
| Supply voltage range | +2 V to +12 V |
| Automotive temperature range | -40 °C to +125 °C |
The absolute maximum V+ is +13 V, and the devices are typically operated up to +12 V.
MAX4610 has four normally open switches, MAX4611 has four normally closed switches, and MAX4612 has two normally open and two normally closed switches.
Apply V+ before applying analog signals or logic inputs; use protection diodes if the inputs are not current‑limited.
