About this manual

The MAX6043 precision voltage reference provides preset output options of +2.5 V, +3.3 V, +4.096 V, +5.0 V or +10 V from a supply of 4.5 V to 40 V. It uses band‑gap technology with laser‑trimmed thin‑film resistors, delivering a temperature coefficient of only 15 ppm/°C (max) and an initial accuracy of 0.05 % (max). The device draws 320 µA quiescent current and can source up to 10 mA or sink 0.6 mA.

The reference is stable without an external output capacitor and can drive capacitive loads up to 100 µF. It operates over an automotive temperature range of –40 °C to +125 °C, making it suitable for high‑performance, battery‑operated systems and precision data‑converter applications.
