The MAX6325/MAX6341/MAX6350 are low-noise, precision voltage references with extremely low, 0.5ppm/°C typical temperature coefficients and excellent, ±0.02% initial accuracy. These devices feature buried-zener technology for lowest noise performance. Load-regulation specifications are guaranteed for source and sink currents up to 15mA. Excellent line and load regulation and low output impedance at high frequencies make them ideal for high-resolution data-conversion systems up to 16 bits. The MAX6325 is set for a 2.5V output, the MAX6341 is set for a 4.096V output, and the MAX6350 is set for a 5V output. All three provide for the option of external trimming and noise reduction.
The MAX6325, MAX6341 and MAX6350 are low‑noise, precision voltage references with an ultra‑low temperature coefficient of 1 ppm/°C and very low noise (1.5 µV‑p‑p from 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz). They provide +2.5 V, +4.096 V and +5 V outputs respectively, with optional external trimming and noise‑reduction features. Typical applications include high‑resolution ADC/DAC systems, precision reference standards, industrial process control, digital voltmeters, ATE equipment and precision current sources.
The datasheet lists electrical characteristics such as input voltage range (8 V‑36 V), output voltage tolerance (±0.02 % for MAX6350), source/sink current up to ±15 mA, power consumption as low as 18 mW, long‑term stability of 30 ppm/1000 h, and turn‑on settling times of a few microseconds. Pin configurations, ordering information, package dimensions and typical operating curves are also provided.
