About this manual

The MAX5895 is a programmable interpolating, modulating, 500 Msps dual‑channel digital‑to‑analog converter (DAC) optimized for high‑performance, wideband single‑ and multicarrier transmit applications. It integrates selectable 2×, 4× or 8× interpolating filters, a digital quadrature modulator, and dual 16‑bit high‑speed DACs on a single IC.

Key features include in‑band SFDR of 88 dBc at 30 MHz, low power consumption (1.1 W at full rate), selectable output filter types, and a standard 1.8 V CMOS, 3.3 V tolerant data bus with a 3.3 V SPI port for configuration. The device is offered in a 68‑pin QFN‑EP package and is supported by an evaluation kit.
