This document describes the features and characteristics of ASUS Express Gate, which is an instant-on environment that provides quick access to several applications. It is entirely self-contained and can be used without entering the operating system of the Notebook PC.
Express Gate is an instant‑on environment that lets you quickly access a web browser, Skype, music, photo manager, chat and other applications without booting Windows. By pressing the dedicated Express Gate key (or the Power4Gear key on some models) you enter the Express Gate menu within seconds of powering on the notebook.
The guide describes the layout of the first screen, how to launch and switch between applications, how to resize or move windows, and how to exit back to the operating system or power off. It also includes legal notices, warranty limitations, and a link to ASUS support.
Press the Express Gate key (or the Power4Gear key on some models) on your notebook to enter Express Gate directly from a powered‑off state.
