About this manual

The LM4030 shunt voltage reference provides exceptionally high initial accuracy (0.05% for grade A) and low temperature coefficient (10 ppm/°C). It is available in fixed output options of 2.5 V and 4.096 V and is housed in a tiny SOT‑23‑5 package, yet it maintains excellent thermal hysteresis (75 ppm) and long‑term stability (40 ppm).

The device can operate without an external capacitor, supports up to 30 mA continuous shunt current, and tolerates transient currents up to 50 mA. Electrical characteristics, absolute maximum ratings, and typical performance curves are detailed for both voltage options, along with ordering information and pin descriptions.
