About this manual

The DS2781 fuel‑gauge IC measures voltage, temperature and current for single‑ or dual‑cell lithium‑ion batteries and provides capacity estimates in mAh and percent. It stores cell‑stack characteristics and application parameters in on‑chip EEPROM and offers a unique 64‑bit ID for traceability.

The device operates from 2.5 V to 10 V, supports active and sleep power modes, and communicates via a Dallas 1‑Wire bus with standard (16 kbps) and over‑drive (140 kbps) speeds. It is available in TSSOP‑8 and TDFN‑10 packages and includes 24‑byte parameter EEPROM plus 16‑byte user EEPROM.
