About this manual

The DS1803 addressable dual digital potentiometer provides two independently controlled 256‑position potentiometers. It is operated via a 2‑wire serial interface (SDA, SCL) with three chip‑select inputs, allowing up to eight devices to share the bus. The device is available in DIP, SOIC and TSSOP packages and in three standard resistance values (10 kΩ, 50 kΩ, 100 kΩ).

The datasheet details electrical specifications, timing diagrams, command protocols for reading and writing wiper positions, and absolute maximum ratings. It also lists recommended operating conditions, analog resistor characteristics, and ordering information for each package and resistance option.
