QT1106 is a touch IC that supports 0-7 touch points, supports wheels and sliders, and has a patented spread-spectrum charge transfer technology. It supports 5mm x 5mm or larger touch points and 6mm or wider touch point spacing.
The QT1106 is a self‑contained charge‑transfer capacitive controller that can detect touch on up to seven discrete electrodes and a wheel or linear slider. It works through common dielectrics such as glass or plastic and offers adjustable sensitivity via external Cs capacitors.
The device includes a five‑wire SPI interface, several power‑saving operating modes (Free Run, LP, Sleep, Sync), and patented features like Adjacent Key Suppression and QMagic™ proximity sensing. It is supplied in a 32‑pin 5 × 5 mm QFN package and operates from 2.8 V to 5.0 V.
