The ZXLD1100 is a PFM inductive boost converter from Zetex designed to drive 2, 3 or 4 series-connected white LEDs from a Li-ion cell and up to 8 LEDs from a 5V supply. It operates from an input supply of 2.5V to 5.5V and provides an adjustable output current of up to 50mA, with a maximum output voltage of 28V.
The device includes an internal switch, peak current sense resistor and open circuit protection, and is assembled in a low profile SC70-6 pin package. Output current can be adjusted with a PWM control signal on the EN pin, and the internal PWM filter supports flicker-free output. The datasheet covers pin descriptions, electrical characteristics, device description and typical operating characteristics.
