3M™ Pedestal Stand 749, can be used with 3M™ Wrist Strap Testers 740, 747 and 746. The 749 is made of stainless steel for durability and has a tip-over angle of greater than 45 degrees. Its unique top plate can support any of the 3M wrist strap testers, and it can accommodate certain models of barcode and magnetic readers. Designed for use in manufacturing areas, this unit is self-supporting, stand alone and portable. The base plate is joined to the support column by stainless steel bolts and has insulated washers to keep the operator from bypassing the grounding wire and creating an electrical short. This feature helps guard against a false reading by creating a second path for the circuit.
