Tyco Electronics QFT Transitions Manual

QFT heat-shrinkable transitions form a watertight seal protecting cable splices from corrosion and mechanical abuse while providing excellent electrical insulating properties. QFT products use special crimps that allow them to be employed as 1:2, 1:3, and even 1:4 tran- sitions. With their high shrink ratio and crimps the config- urable QFT product line can accommodate almost all of your transition needs with only 3 product sizes.

About this manual

The QFT series from Tyco Electronics (formerly Raychem) are configurable heat‑shrink transitions designed for low‑cost polyolefin cable splices. They feature a high shrink ratio, an easy‑to‑use crimp tool, and are suitable for creating watertight, corrosion‑resistant seals with excellent electrical insulation.

The document lists product dimensions, temperature ratings, mechanical and electrical performance data, as well as ordering and packaging details. It also includes test methods and fluid resistance information for various automotive and industrial fluids.
