The ISL97519A is a high frequency, high efficiency step-up voltage regulator operated at constant frequency PWM mode.
The ISL97519A is a constant‑frequency PWM boost regulator that operates from 2.3 V to 5.5 V input and can deliver up to 1 A output current with efficiencies exceeding 90 %. It features a selectable 600 kHz or 1.2 MHz switching frequency, an internal 2.0 A, 200 mΩ power MOSFET, and a shutdown current of less than 1 pA.
Typical applications include TFT‑LCD displays, digital cameras, GSM/CDMA phones, handheld devices and other portable equipment. The device is supplied in an 8‑lead MSOP package (max height 1.1 mm) and is RoHS‑compliant.
| Switching Frequency | 600 kHz / 1.2 MHz (selectable) |
|---|---|
| Input Voltage Range | 2.3 V – 5.5 V |
| Output Voltage Range | 5 V – 25 V |
| Internal Power MOSFET | 2.0 A, 200 mΩ |
| Efficiency | up to 290 % (typical >90 %) |
| Shutdown Current | < 1 pA |
| Operating Temperature Range | -40 °C to +85 °C |
| Package | 8‑lead MSOP, max height 1.1 mm |
| Quiescent Current (EN=0) | 1 µA (typical) |
| Maximum MOSFET Current Limit | 2.0 A (guaranteed 1.5 A when Vpp>2.8 V) |
The device draws less than 1 pA when the EN pin is pulled low, putting it into shutdown.
Connect the FSEL pin to ground for 620 kHz operation; connect it to VDD (or high) for 1.25 MHz operation.
It operates from 2.3 V up to 5.5 V input.
The regulator can be set to produce up to 25 V output.
