The X9271 is a single supply low power 256 tap SPI bus single digitally controlled (XDCP™) potentiometer from Intersil. It features 256 resistor taps, SPI serial interface, 100 ohm typical wiper resistance, 16 nonvolatile data registers, multiple wiper position nonvolatile storage, power-on recall, loads saved wiper position on power-up, less than 3 microamp standby current, 2.7 to 5.5 volt operation, 50 kiloohm, 100 kiloohm versions of end to end resistance, 100 years data retention, 100,000 data changes per bit per register endurance, 14 lead TSSOP package, low power CMOS, lead free and anneal available (RoHS compliant).
