About this manual

The X9111 integrates a digitally controlled potentiometer (XDCP) on a monolithic CMOS IC. It provides 1024 resistor taps (10‑bit resolution) and can be used as a three‑terminal potentiometer or a two‑terminal variable resistor. The device is accessed via an SPI serial interface and includes four non‑volatile data registers plus a volatile wiper counter register.

Typical applications include gain control in amplifiers, voltage reference generation, audio volume control, sensor signal conditioning, and RF biasing. The part is supplied in a 14‑lead thin‑shrink small‑outline plastic package (TSSOP) and operates from 2.7 V to 5.5 V with standby current below 3 µA.
