About this manual

The AD6634 is a multimode 4‑channel digital receive signal processor (RSP) that can handle up to two WCDMA channels or four GSM/EDGE channels. It integrates a frequency translator, cascaded decimating FIR filters, a programmable RAM‑based FIR filter, and half‑band interpolation, providing flexible multicarrier and phased‑array operation. Dual 16‑bit parallel ports and dual 8‑bit link ports deliver high‑speed data to DSPs such as Analog Devices’ TigerSHARC.

Key features include 80 MSPS wideband inputs, programmable digital AGC loops with a 96 dB range, built‑in self‑test (BIST), JTAG boundary‑scan support, and a 196‑lead CSPBGA package. The device operates from 2.25‑2.75 V (VDD) and 3.0‑3.6 V (VDDIO) and is rated for –40 °C to +85 °C.
