ADM6819/ADM6820 is a single chip power supply sequencer launched by Analog Devices. It can sequence two supplies. The chip has the advantages of small size, wide temperature range and wide working voltage range. It is suitable for multi-voltage systems, dual-voltage microprocessors/FPGAs/ASICs/DSPs, network processors, telecom and data communication systems and PC/server applications.
The ADM6819 and ADM6820 provide power‑supply sequencing for two supplies, with an on‑board charge pump that fully enhances an external N‑channel MOSFET. They monitor a primary supply voltage and enable or disable a secondary supply FET, supporting cascade configurations for more than two rails.
Both devices are supplied in a compact 6‑lead SOT‑23 package and include features such as adjustable delay (ADM6820), fixed 300 ms timeout (ADM6819), and a logic/analog‑driven enable input. Electrical specifications, pin functions, timing diagrams, and ordering information are detailed throughout the document.
