About this manual

The AD8555 zero‑drift sensor signal amplifier provides very low offset voltage (10 µV max) and low offset drift (60 nV/°C max) with a high common‑mode rejection ratio of at least 96 dB. It features digitally programmable gain from 70 to 1,280 and programmable output offset via a single‑wire serial interface, plus open‑wire and short‑wire fault detection.

The device operates from a single supply of 2.7 V to 5.5 V and an industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +125 °C. It is offered in 8‑lead SOIC and 16‑lead LFCSP packages and includes a low‑pass filter function using an external capacitor. Detailed electrical specifications, pin configurations, and application notes for capacitive sensors are provided.
