About this manual

The ADM9690 is an 8‑lead SOIC voltage‑monitoring comparator with an integrated watchdog timer. It monitors the 5 V supply of a microprocessor and generates two reset outputs when the supply drops below the threshold or when the watchdog timer expires.

The device offers selectable watchdog timeout periods (0.75 ms to 25 ms) and provides a power‑on reset (RESET 1) of 50 ms and an additional reset (RESET 2) of 10 ms for downstream circuitry.
