The ADF4158 is a 6.1 GHz fractional-N frequency synthesizer with an RF bandwidth up to 6.1 GHz. It features a 25-bit fixed modulus that allows subhertz frequency resolution. In addition to frequency synthesis, it also has frequency and phase modulation capability, as well as the ability to generate sawtooth and triangular waveforms in the frequency domain. Furthermore, it has functions such as parabolic ramp, ramp superimposed with FSK, ramp with 2 different sweep rates, ramp delay, ramp frequency readback, and ramp interruption. The product is suitable for applications such as FMCW radar and communications test equipment, and it is qualified for automotive applications.
