The 16-Bit, 2 LSB INL, 3 MSPS PulSAR® ADC AD7621 is an upgrade of the AD7677 with higher sample rate, lower distortion and higher resolution
The AD7621 is a 16‑bit, charge‑redistribution SAR analog‑to‑digital converter that delivers up to 3 MSPS in wideband warp mode and operates from a single 2.5 V supply. It includes an internal 2.048 V reference, low power consumption (65 mW typical at full speed), and both serial (SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE) and parallel (8‑ or 16‑bit) data interfaces.
The device offers high linearity with no missing codes, INL of +2 LSB max (+1 LSB typ), SINAD of 89 dB at 100 kHz, and THD of –101 dB. It is specified for –40 °C to +85 °C operation and is available in 48‑lead LQFP and LFCSP packages.
