AD7366/AD7367 is a true bipolar input, dual 12-bit/14-bit, 2-channel, simultaneous sampling SAR ADC from Analog Devices.
This document describes the AD7366 and AD7367 dual SAR analog‑to‑digital converters. It covers features such as true bipolar inputs, programmable input ranges (±10 V, ±5 V, 0‑10 V, and ±12 V with external reference), a 1 MSPS throughput rate, and a high‑speed serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP.
The datasheet includes functional block diagrams, pin configurations, absolute maximum ratings, timing specifications, power‑up sequences, and application hints. Detailed electrical parameters such as supply voltages, reference options, input impedance, and power consumption are provided for both normal and shutdown modes.
| Supply Voltage (AVCC/DVCC) | 4.75 V to 5.25 V |
|---|---|
| Positive Supply (VDD) | 11.5 V to 16.5 V |
| Negative Supply (VSS) | −16.5 V to −11.5 V |
| Drive Voltage (VDRIVE) | 2.7 V to 5.25 V |
| Maximum Sampling Rate | 1 MSPS (1.12 MSPS typ.) |
| Input Voltage Ranges | ±10 V, ±5 V, 0‑10 V, ±12 V with external reference |
| Normal‑Mode Supply Current (IDD) | 370 µA – 550 µA |
The device can sample at up to 1 MSPS (typical 1.12 MSPS).
It supports ±10 V, ±5 V, 0‑10 V, and with an external reference, ±12 V bipolar ranges.
AVCC/DVCC require 4.75 V‑5.25 V, VDD 11.5 V‑16.5 V, VSS −16.5 V‑−11.5 V, and VDRIVE 2.7 V‑5.25 V.
