AD8392A is a low power, high output current quad op amp, ideal for use as an ADSL/ADSL2+ dual-channel central office (CO) line driver. It features four current feedback, high current amplifiers, low power operation, three active power modes plus shutdown, high output voltage and current drive, and high speed performance. The AD8392AACP also has additional functionality including on-chip common-mode voltage generation.
The AD8392A quad current‑feedback amplifier provides up to 500 mA peak output current and a 42.6 V p‑p differential output swing, making it suitable for central‑office line‑driver interfaces in ADSL and ADSL2+ systems. It is offered in two thermally enhanced packages (28‑lead TSSOP/EP and 32‑lead LFCSP) and supports three active power modes plus a shutdown state.
The datasheet details electrical specifications such as small‑signal bandwidth (25‑37 MHz), slew rate (515 V/µs), and supply ranges (+5 V to +12 V dual, 10 V to 24 V single). It also includes pin configurations, absolute maximum ratings, thermal resistance data, and layout recommendations to ensure reliable high‑speed operation.
