This datasheet provides the features of the DS1631, DS1631A, and DS1731 digital thermometers, including accuracy, temperature range, power consumption, and interface.
The DS1631 family provides high‑precision temperature measurement with selectable 9‑ to 12‑bit resolution and a built‑in thermostat. Accuracy is ±0.5 °C for the DS1631/DS1631A over a 0 °C to +70 °C range and ±1 °C for the DS1731 over –10 °C to +85 °C. Devices operate from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and support multidrop on a 2‑wire serial bus, allowing up to eight devices on the same bus.
The datasheet includes ordering information, pin descriptions, electrical characteristics, register maps, and example command sequences for configuring continuous conversion, one‑shot mode, and thermostat operation.
