Direct fieldbus connection (BDC), B-design, is a bus module with a driver for direct fieldbus connection. It can be used for the protocols Profibus DP, CANopen, CANopen sb, DeviceNet, SERCOS III and EtherCAT.
This guide describes the connection structure for the Bosch Rexroft BDC B- series. It lists the supported fieldbus systems – Profibus DP, CANopen, DeviceNet, SERCOS III and EtherCAT – and provides the corresponding connector types and pin assignments.
