MSP430x241x, MSP430x261x mixed-signal microcontrollers are low-power microcontrollers released by Texas Instruments. They are based on the 16-bit RISC architecture, with a working voltage range of 1.8V to 3.6V. They have three-channel internal DMA, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, 12-bit digital-to-analog converter, 16-bit timer A, 16-bit timer B, four universal serial communication interfaces (USCIs), power supply voltage monitor, brownout detector, bootstrap loader, serial onboard programming and other features.
The MSP430x241x and MSP430x261x are ultralow‑power mixed‑signal microcontrollers featuring a 16‑bit RISC CPU, 12‑bit ADC, dual 12‑bit DACs, on‑chip comparator, four USCI modules, DMA, and multiple 16‑bit timers. They operate from 1.8 V to 3.6 V and provide fast wake‑up from low‑power modes in less than 1 µs.
The family includes several memory configurations (e.g., 92 KB Flash + 256 B RAM, up to 120 KB Flash + 8 KB RAM) and is offered in 64‑pin and 80‑pin QFP packages. Detailed pin‑out tables, functional block diagrams, and mechanical drawings are provided, along with TI’s standard warranty and usage notices.
