The LM2592HV series is a monolithic integrated circuit that provides all the active functions for a step-down (buck) switching regulator, capable of driving a 2A load with excellent line and load regulation. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, and an adjustable output version. This series of switching regulators is similar to the LM2593HV, but without some of the supervisory and performance features of the latter. Requiring a minimum number of external components, these regulators are simple to use and include internal frequency compensation, improved line and load specifications, and a fixed-frequency oscillator. The LM2592HV operates at a switching frequency of 150 kHz, thus allowing smaller sized filter components than what would be needed with lower frequency switching regulators. It is available in a standard 5-lead TO-220 package with several different lead bend options, and a 5-lead TO-263 Surface mount package. Other features include a guaranteed ±4% tolerance on output voltage under all conditions of input voltage and output load conditions, and ±15% on the oscillator frequency. External shutdown is included, featuring typically 90 µA standby current. Self-protection features include a two-stage current limit for the output switch and an over-temperature shutdown for complete protection under fault conditions.

This document is about LT1766/LT1766-5, LT1766/LT1766-5 are 200kHz monolithic buck switching regulators that accept input voltages up to 60V. It includes a high efficiency 1.5A, 0.2Ω switch, as well as all the necessary oscillator, control and logic circuitry. A current mode control architecture delivers fast transient response and excellent loop stability. Special design techniques and a new high voltage process achieve high efficiency over a wide input range. By using the output to bias the circuitry and by utilizing a supply boost capacitor to saturate the power switch, efficiency is maintained over a wide output current range. Patented circuitry* maintains peak switch current rating.

The HIP4082 is a medium frequency, medium voltage H-Bridge N-Channel MOSFET driver IC from Honeywell Company. It is suitable for PWM motor control and UPS applications. The device has a flexible input protocol that can drive all possible switch combinations except those that may cause a shoot-through condition. HIP4082's reduced drive current allows smaller packaging and it has a much wider range of programmable dead times (0.1 to 4.5µs), making it ideal for switching frequencies up to 200kHz. The HIP4082 does not contain an internal charge pump, but does incorporate non-latching level-shift translation control of the upper drive circuits. This set of features and specifications is optimized for applications where size and cost are important.

The THS4031 and THS4032 are ultralow-voltage noise, high-speed voltage feedback amplifiers that are ideal for applications requiring low voltage noise, including communication and imaging. The single-amplifier THS4031 and the dual-amplifier THS4032 offer very good ac performance with 100-MHz bandwidth, 100-V/µs slew rate, and 60-ns settling time (0.1%). The THS4031 and THS4032 are stable at gains of 2 (–1) or greater. These amplifiers have a high drive capability of 90 mA and draw only 8.5-mA supply current per channel. With total harmonic distortion (THD) of –72 dBc at f = 1 MHz, the THS4031 and THS4032 are ideally suited for applications requiring low distortion.

M48T59 is an integrated ultra low power SRAM, real time clock, power-fail control circuit and battery product launched by ST company. It has frequency test output, automatic power-fail chip deselect and write protection.

The Microchip Technology Inc. 93LC46AX/BX are 1K- bit, low voltage serial Electrically Erasable PROMs. The device memory is configured as x8 (93LC46A) or x16 bits (93LC46B). Advanced CMOS technology makes these devices ideal for low power nonvolatile memory applications. The 93LC46AX/BX is available in standard 8-pin DIP, 8-pin surface mount SOIC, and TSSOP packages. The 93LC46AX/BX are offered only in a 150-mil SOIC package.

LM6142/LM6144 17MHz Rail-to-Rail Input-Output Operational Amplifiers General Description Using patent pending new circuit topologies, the LM6142/ LM6144 provides new levels of performance in applications where low voltage supplies or power limitations previously made compromise necessary. Operating on supplies of 1.8V to over 24V, the LM6142/LM6144 is an excellent choice for battery operated systems, portable instrumentation and oth- ers. The greater than rail-to-rail input voltage range eliminates concern over exceeding the common-mode voltage range. The rail-to-rail output swing provides the maximum possible dynamic range at the output. This is particularly important when operating on low supply voltages. High gain-bandwidth with 650µA/Amplifier supply current opens new battery powered applications where previous higher power consumption reduced battery life to unaccept- able levels. The ability to drive large capacitive loads without oscillating functionally removes this common problem.
