The MC623 is a 3.0 V solid-state, programmable temperature sensor designed for use in thermal management applications. It features dual thermal interrupt outputs (LOW LIMIT and HIGH LIMIT) each of which program with a single external resistor. When measured temperature exceeds the user-programmed limits, the HIGH LIMIT and LOW LIMIT outputs are driven active (high). When temperature exceeds the HIGH LIMIT setpoint, the CONTROL output is driven active (high) and turned off when temperature falls below the LOW LIMIT setpoint. The CONTROL output can be used to provide simple ON/OFF control to a cooling fan if so desired. Low voltage operation, easy setpoint programming, small size and low cost make the MC623 an ideal choice for many thermal management applications.

ISL84541, ISL84542, ISL84543, ISL84544 are low-voltage, single-supply, dual SPST, SPDT analog switches from Intersil. These devices are designed to operate from a single +2.7V to +12V supply and have low power consumption (5µW), low leakage currents (100pA max), and fast switching speeds (tON = 35ns, tOFF = 25ns). They are suitable for battery powered equipment that require additional functionality and can be used to reduce ASIC design risk.

The ISL6440 is a high performance, dual output PWM controller that can convert DC input power from wall adapters, batteries or network backplanes to system power voltages required for a variety of applications. Each output is adjustable down to 0.8V. The two PWMs are 180° out of phase synchronized, reducing the input current and ripple voltage RMS.

The ISL6410 and ISL6410A are synchronous current-mode PWM regulators designed to provide a total DC-DC solution for microcontrollers, microprocessors, CPLDs, FPGAs, core processors/BBP/MAC, and ASICs. The ISL6410 should be selected for applications using 3.3V ±10% as an input voltage and the ISL6410A in applications requiring 5.0V ±10%. These synchronous current mode PWM regulators have integrated N- and P-Channel power MOSFETs and provide pre-set pin programmable outputs. Synchronous rectification with internal MOSFETs is used to achieve higher efficiency and a reduced external component count. The operating frequency of 750kHz typical allows the use of small inductor and capacitor values. The device can be synchronized to an external clock signal in the range of 500kHz to 1MHz. A power good signal “PG” is generated when the output voltage falls outside the regulation limits. Other features include overcurrent protection and thermal overload shutdown. The ISL6410 and ISL6410A are available in an MSOP 10 lead package.

The ISL6123, ISL6124, ISL6125, ISL6126, ISL6127, ISL6128 are a four-channel power supply sequencer with supply monitoring, fault protection and a "sequence completed" signal (RESET#).

IRU1010-25 is a 1A low dropout positive fixed 2.5V regulator. This product is specifically designed to provide well regulated supply for low voltage IC applications as well as generating clock supply for PC applications. The IRU1010-25 is guaranteed to have <1.3V dropout at full load current making it ideal to provide well regulated with 3.8V input supply. The IRU1010-25 is specifically de- signed to be stable with low cost aluminum capacitors while maintaining stability with low ESR tantalum caps.

The MC642 is a pulse width modulation (PWM) fan speed controller for use with DC motors. It provides temperature proportional speed control. A thermistor connected to the VIN input furnishes the required control voltage of 1.25V to 2.65V for 0% to 100% PWM duty cycle. Minimum fan speed is set by a simple resistor divider on the VMIN input. An integrated Start–Up Timer ensures reliable motor start–up at turn–on, coming out of Shutdown Mode, or following a transient fault. A stalled, open, or unconnected fan causes the MC642 to trigger its start–up timer once. If the fault persists, the FAULT output goes low, and the device is latched in Shutdown Mode. Features include: Shutdown Mode for Power Saving, Supports Low Cost NTC/PTC Thermistors, Temperature Proportional Speed for Acoustic Control / Longer Fan Life, Fan Voltage Independent of MC642 Supply Voltage, Fault Detection Circuits Protect Against Fan Failure and Aid System Testing, Operating Temperature Range: 0°C to +85°C. Typical applications: Power Supplies, Personal Computers, UPS’s, Power Amplifiers, etc.
