This document introduces the power-on reset circuit of the AD7416/AD7417/AD7418 circuit, which can ensure that the correct power-on reset is achieved when the power-off, power-on time is short.

The AD573 is a 10-bit successive approximation analog-to-digital converter that includes a DAC, voltage reference, clock, comparator, successive approximation register (SAR) and three-state output buffers, all fabricated on a single chip. No external components are required to perform a full accuracy 10-bit conversion in 20 µs. The AD573 incorporates advanced integrated circuit design and processing technologies. The successive approximation technique is used to implement the conversion, which is a digital conversion technique in which the input signal is compared with the reference voltage at each conversion. The result of the comparison is the most significant bit that is discarded, and the other bits are used to calculate the next reference voltage.

This document provides the AD571 specifications, including resolution, relative accuracy, full-scale calibration, unipolar offset, bipolar offset, temperature range, temperature coefficients, power supply rejection, analog input impedance, analog input ranges, output coding, logic output, logic input, and conversion time.

AD570/AD570S is an analog-to-digital converter produced by Texas Instruments. Its features include 8-bit resolution, temperature range of 0-70°C, power supply range of +4.5-+5.5V, input range of 0-10V, and output coding of positive true binary or positive offset binary.

The paper introduces a chipset to simplify receiver design and puts forth a design example based on GSM but can be extended to many open or closed air interface. Advances in analog converter technology now allow IF sampling which can greatly simplify receiver design. Advances in digital integrated circuits also advance the state of the art in terms of digital tun- ing and filtering. Together these two chips can replace many of the cumbersome stages of a traditional analog receiver with predictable and reliable performance.

This application note describes the requirements to control the AD7416 via a PIC microcontroller by emulating an I2C bus interface. It provides code examples and descriptions of both hardware and software. The AD7416 is a 10-bit temperature monitoring device that is supplied in an 8-lead SOIC or µSOIC package. The temperature can be calculated by reading the data register of the device.

The AD7782 is a complete analog front end for low-frequency measurement applications. The 24-bit sigma-delta ADC contains two fully differential analog input channels that can be configured.
