This document describes the features and characteristics of LD1117xx adjustable and fixed low drop positive voltage regulators, including low dropout voltage, suitability for SCSI-2 active termination, output current up to 800 mA, fixed and adjustable output voltage options, internal current and thermal limit, etc.

L79LxxAB L79LxxAC - L79LxxC are negative voltage regulators with features including high output current, multiple output voltages, thermal overload protection, and short circuit protection.

The LM217L/LM317L are monolithic integrated circuits in SO-8 and TO-92 packages intended for use as positive adjustable voltage regulators. They are designed to supply up to 100mA of load current with an output voltage adjustable over a range of 1.2 to 37V. The device has a nominal output voltage selected by means of a resistive divider, making it easy to use and eliminating the need for stocking many fixed regulators. It features thermal overload protection, short circuit protection, and output transition safe area compensation. Floating operation is available for high voltage applications.

LM137 and LM337 are three-terminal adjustable negative voltage regulators with output voltage adjustable down to VREF, 1.5A guaranteed output current, 0.3%/V typical load regulation, 0.01%/V typical line regulation, constant current limit with temperature, 77dB ripple rejection, standard 3-lead transistor packages, excellent thermal regulation: 0.002%/V and 50ppm/°C temperature coefficient

LM236-LM336 are precision 2.5V regulator diodes with features including low temperature coefficient, wide operating current range, 0.2Ω dynamic impedance, guaranteed temperature stability, and fast turn-on.

LM323 is a three-terminal positive voltage regulator with a preset 5V output and a load driving capability of 3A. It features internal current and thermal limiting, low output impedance, minimum input voltage of 7.5V, and maximum power dissipation of 30W.

The LM350 is a three-terminal 3A adjustable voltage regulator. It features a guaranteed 3A output current, adjustable output down to 1.2V, line regulation typically 0.005%/V, load regulation typically 0.1%, and other characteristics.

The LM117, LM217, and LM317 are monolithic integrated circuits in TO-220, TO-220FP, TO-3 and D²PAK packages intended for use as positive adjustable voltage regulators. They are designed to supply more than 1.5 A of load current with an output voltage adjustable over a 1.2 to 37 V range. The nominal output voltage is selected by means of only a resistive divider, making the device exceptionally easy to use and eliminating the stocking of many fixed regulators.

These regulators have an output current of up to 1.5 A and output voltages of -5V, -8V, -12V, and -15V. They also provide thermal overload protection, short circuit protection, and output transition SOA protection.

The L78MxxAB L78MxxAC is a precision 500mA regulator produced by ST. It has several fixed output voltages, including 5; 6; 8; 9; 10; 12; 15; 24 V, and features thermal overload protection, short circuit protection, output transition SOA protection, etc. It is suitable for a wide range of applications.

The L78MxxC series of three-terminal positive regulators are available in TO-220, TO-220FP, DPAK and IPAK packages and with several fixed output voltages, making it useful in a wide range of applications. These regulators can provide local on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with single point regulation. Each type employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe area protection, making it essentially indestructible. If adequate heat sinking is provided, they can deliver over 0.5 A output current. Although designed primarily as fixed voltage regulators, these devices can be used with external components to obtain adjustable voltage and currents.

The L78Lxx series of three-terminal positive regulators have an output current of 100 mA and output voltages of 3.3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 18, and 24 V.
