LM2716 is a dual-path DC/DC converter from National Semiconductor. It consists of a fixed output voltage buck converter and an adjustable output voltage boost converter. Both use low RDSON (0.16 Ω and 0.12 Ω) internal switches for maximum efficiency. The operating frequency can be adjusted anywhere between 300 kHz and 600 kHz, allowing the use of small external components. External soft-start pins for each allow the user to tailor the soft-start times to a specific application. Each converter may also be shut down independently with its own shutdown pin. The LM2716 is available in a low profile 24-lead TSSOP package.

The LMH1980 is an auto-detecting SD/HD/PC video sync separator ideal for use in a wide range of video applications, such as automotive LCD monitors, video capture & editing devices, surveillance & security equipment, and machine vision and inspection systems. It automatically detects the video format, eliminating the need for external RSET resistor adjustment required by other sync separators. The outputs provide timing signals in CMOS logic, including Composite, Horizontal, and Vertical Syncs, Burst/Back Porch Timing, and Odd/Even Field outputs. The HD flag output provides a logic low signal only when a valid HD video input with tri-level sync is detected. It can be used to disable an external switch-controlled SD chroma filter when HD video is detected, or enable it when SD video is detected. For non-standard video with bi-level sync and without vertical serration pulses, a default vertical sync pulse will be output and no horizontal sync pulses will be output during the vertical sync interval. The LMH1980 is available in a space-saving 10-ld. Mini-SO Package (MSOP) and operates over a temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.

The LM2755 is a charge-pump-based, constant current LED driver capable of driving 3 LEDs with a total output current up to 90mA. The diode current waveforms of each LED can be trapezoidal with timing and level parameters (rise time, fall time, high level, low level, delay, high time, low time) programmed via an I2C compatible interface. The 32 brightness levels found on the LM2755 are exponentially spaced (as opposed to linearly spaced) to better match the response of the human eye to changing brightness levels. The device requires only four small and low-cost ceramic capacitors. The LM2755 provides excellent efficiency without the use of an inductor by operating the charge pump in a gain of 3/2 or in a gain of 1. Maximum efficiency is achieved over the input voltage range by actively selecting the proper gain based on the LED forward voltage requirements. The pre-regulation scheme used by the LM2755 is optimized to ensure low conducted noise on the input. An internal soft-start circuitry eliminates high inrush current at start-up. The LM2755 consumes 3µA (typ.) of supply current in shut-down. The LM2755 is available in National’s tiny 18-bump thin micro SMD package.

The LM48411 is a single supply, high efficiency, 2.5W/channel Class D audio amplifier from National Semiconductor. It features the company's unique patented ultra low EMI, spread spectrum, PWM architecture, which significantly reduces RF emissions while preserving audio quality and efficiency. The E2S system also improves battery life, reduces external component count, board area consumption, system cost and simplifies design. The LM48411 is designed to meet the demands of mobile phones and other portable communication devices. Operating on a single 5V supply, it is capable of delivering 2.5W/channel of continuous output power to a 4Ω load with less than 10% THD+N. Its flexible power supply requirements allow operation from 2.4V to 5.5V. The wide band spread spectrum architecture of the LM48411 reduces EMI-radiated emissions due to the modulator frequency. The LM48411 features high efficiency compared to a conventional Class AB amplifier. The E2S system includes an advanced, patented pending edge rate control (ERC) architecture that further reduce emissions by minimizing the high frequency component of the device output, while maintaining high quality audio reproduction and high efficiency (η = 87% at VDD = 3.6V, PO = 500mW). Four gain options are pin se- lectable through GAIN0 and GAIN1 pins.

The LM5007 is a high-voltage step-down switching regulator from Linear Technology. It integrates an 80V, 0.7A N-channel buck switch, has a simple external circuit, the working frequency can be automatically adjusted according to the input voltage and load, and the output voltage is adjustable. It has thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, overcurrent protection, overload protection and other functions.

LMP2015/LMP2016 are the first members of National's new LMPTM precision amplifier family. They offer unprecedented accuracy and stability in space-saving miniature packaging at an affordable price. These devices utilize patented techniques to measure and continually correct the input offset error voltage. The result is a series of amplifiers that are ultra stable over time and temperature. They have excellent CMRR and PSRR ratings and do not exhibit the familiar 1/f voltage and current noise increase that plagues traditional amplifiers. The combination of characteristics makes the LMP2015/LMP2016 good choices for transducer amplifiers, high gain configurations, ADC buffer amplifiers, DAC I-V conversion, or any other 2.7V-5V application requiring precision and long-term stability. Other useful benefits of the LMP2015/LMP2016 are rail-to-rail output, a low supply current of 930 µA, and a wide gain bandwidth product of 3 MHz. These extremely versatile features provide high performance and ease of use.

The LM3407 is a 350mA constant current output floating buck switching converter from Texas Instruments, designed to provide constant current to high power LEDs. It has an integrated power N-MOSFET that makes the application solution compact and easy to implement. An external 1% thick-film resistor allows the converter output voltage to adjust as needed to deliver constant current within 10% accuracy to a serially connected LED string of varying number and type. Converter switching frequency is adjustable from 300 kHz to 1 MHz. The LM3407 features a dimming input to enable LED brightness control by Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). Additionally, a separate enable pin allows for low power shutdown. An eMSOP-8 package provides excellent heat dissipation and thermal performance. Input UVLO and output open-circuit protection ensure a robust LED driver solution.

The LM3914 is a monolithic integrated circuit that senses analog voltage levels and drives 10 LEDs, providing a linear analog display. It has an adjustable reference voltage and an accurate 10-step voltage divider. The circuit can drive LEDs of many colors or low-current incandescent lamps. Multiple LM3914s can be chained to form displays of 20 to over 100 segments. The LM3914 is very easy to apply as an analog meter circuit.

The ADC12DS105 is a high-performance CMOS analog-to-digital converter capable of converting two analog input signals into 12-bit digital words at rates up to 105 Mega Samples Per Second (MSPS). The digital outputs are serialized and provided on differential LVDS signal pairs. This converter uses a differential, pipelined architecture with digital error correction and an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit to minimize power consumption and the external component count, while providing excellent dynamic performance. The ADC12DS105 may be operated from a single +3.0V or 3.3V power supply. A power-down feature reduces the power consumption to very low levels while still allowing fast wake-up time to full operation. The differential inputs accept a 2V full scale differential input swing. A stable 1.2V internal voltage reference is provided, or the ADC12DS105 can be operated with an external 1.2V reference. The selectable duty cycle stabilizer maintains performance over a wide range of clock duty cycles. A serial interface allows access to the internal registers for full control of the ADC12DS105's functionality.

The LM4938 is a monolithic integrated circuit that provides DC volume control and stereo bridged audio power amplifiers. It is capable of producing 2W power into 4Ω with less than 1.0% THD or 2.2W power into 3Ω with less than 1.0% THD. The LM4938 features an externally controlled, low-power consumption shutdown mode, and both a power amplifier and headphone mute for maximum system flexibility and performance.

The LP5900 is a linear regulator capable of supplying 150 mA output current.
