The LM22671 series of regulators are monolithic integrated circuits which provide all of the active functions for a step- down (buck) switching regulator capable of driving up to 500 mA loads with excellent line and load regulation characteristics. High efficiency (>90%) is obtained through the use of a low ON-resistance N-channel MOSFET. The series consists of a fixed 5V output and an adjustable version. The SIMPLE SWITCHER® concept provides for an easy to use complete design using a minimum number of external components and National’s WEBENCH® design tool. National’s WEBENCH® tool includes features such as external component calculation, electrical simulation, thermal simulation, and Build-It boards for easy design-in. The switching clock frequency is provided by an internal fixed frequency oscillator which operates at 500 kHz. The switching frequency can also be adjusted with an external resistor or synchronized to an external clock up to 1 MHz. It is also possible to self- synchronize multiple regulators to share the same switching frequency. The LM22671 series also has built in thermal shutdown, current limiting and an enable control input that can power down the regulator to a low 25 µA quiescent current standby condition. An adjustable soft-start feature is provided by selecting an appropriate external soft-start capacitor.

The LP8900 is a dual linear regulator capable of supplying 200mA output current per regulator. Designed to meet the requirements of RF/Analog circuits, the LP8900 provides low device noise, High PSRR, low quiescent current and superior line transient response figures. Using new innovative design techniques the LP8900 offers class-leading device noise performance without a noise by- pass capacitor. The LP8900 is designed to be stable with space saving ceramic capacitors as small as 0402 case size, enabling a solution size <4mm 2. Performance is specified for a -40°C to 125°C junction temperature range. Output voltage options are available between 1.2V and 3.6V, for availability please contact your local NSC sales office.

The DS90CF363 is a 3.3V LVDS transmitter that converts 21 bits of CMOS/TTL data into three LVDS data streams. It supports clock frequencies from 20 to 65 MHz and resolutions up to VGA, SVGA, XGA, etc. The narrow bus design reduces cable size and cost, while the low EMI LVDS devices ensure reliable transmission.

The LP3933 is a complete lighting management system designed for portable wireless applications. It contains a boost DC/DC converter, 4 white-LED drivers to drive the main LCD panel backlight, 2 white-LED drivers for the sub- LCD panel and two sets of RGB/FLASH LED drivers. Both backlight drivers have 8-bit constant current drivers that are separately adjustable and matched to 0.5% (typ.). The RGB LED drivers are PWM-driven with programmable color, intensity and blinking patterns. In addition, they feature a FLASH function to support picture taking with camera- enabled cellular phones. An efficient magnetic boost DC/DC converter provides the required bias for LEDs, operating from a single Li-Ion bat- tery. The DC/DC converter output voltage is user program- mable from 4.1V to 5.3V for adapting to different LED types and for efficiency optimization. All functions are software controllable through a SPI interface and 19 internal registers.

The LM22674 is National Semiconductor's 500mA single-chip step-down switch power supply controller, which integrates the constant voltage controller, PWM generator, error amplifier, current detector and other functional circuits. It is suitable for power supply design with few external components.

The LMV551/LMV552/LMV554 are high performance, low power operational amplifiers. They feature 3 MHz of bandwidth while consuming only 37 μA of current per amplifier, which is an exceptional bandwidth to power ratio in this op amp class. Low-voltage and low-power operational amplifiers that operate with supply voltages ranging from 2.7V to 12V and have rail-to-rail input and output capability

The LM6588 is a low power, high voltage, rail-to-rail input-output amplifier ideally suited for LCD panel VCOM driver and gamma buffer applications. The LM6588 contains four unity gain stable amplifiers in one package. It provides a common mode input ability of 0.5V beyond the supply rails, as well as an output voltage range that extends to within 50mV of either supply rail. With these capabilities, the LM6588 provides maximum dynamic range at any supply voltage. Operating on supplies ranging from 5V to 16V, while consuming only 750µA per amplifier, the LM6588 has a bandwidth of 24MHz (-3dB). The LM6588 also features fast slewing and settling times, along with a high continuous output capability of 75mA. This output stage is capable of delivering approximately 200mA peak currents in order to charge or discharge capacitive loads. These features are ideal for use in TFT-LCDs. The LM6588 is available in the industry standard 14-pin SO package and in the space-saving 14-pin TSSOP package. The amplifiers are specified for operation over the full -40˚C to +85˚C temperature range.

LM5010A is an enhanced version of LM5010, with the input operating range extended to 6V minimum. It has all the functions needed to implement a low cost, efficient, buck regulator capable of supplying in excess of 1A load current. It integrates an N-Channel Buck Switch and is available in thermally enhanced LLP-10 and TSSOP-14EP packages. It requires no loop compensation resulting in fast load transient response and simplified circuit implementation. It is suitable for applications including non-isolated telecommuication systems, power conversion, and small portable devices.

The ADC124S021 is a low-power, four-channel CMOS 12-bit analog-to-digital converter with a high-speed serial interface. It is fully specified over a sample rate range of 50 ksps to 200 ksps and can accept up to four input signals. The output serial data is straight binary and compatible with several standards such as SPI™, QSPI™, MICROWIRE, and many common DSP serial interfaces. The ADC124S021 operates with a single supply ranging from +2.7V to +5.25V. Normal power consumption is 2.2 mW (+3V supply) or 7.9 mW (+5V supply), and the power-down feature reduces power consumption to 0.14 µW (+3V supply) or 0.32 µW (+5V supply). The ADC124S021 is packaged in a 10-lead MSOP package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

LM26LV is a low-voltage, precision, dual-output, low-power temperature switch and temperature sensor. The temperature trip point (TTRIP) can be preset at the factory to any temperature in the range of 0°C to 150°C in 1°C increments. Built-in temperature hysteresis (THYST) keeps the output stable in an environment of temperature instability. In normal operation the LM26LV temperature switch outputs assert when the die temperature exceeds TTRIP. The temper- ature switch outputs will reset when the temperature falls below a temperature equal to (TTRIP − THYST). The OVERTEMP digital output, is active-high with a push-pull structure, while the OVERTEMP digital output, is active-low with an open-drain structure. An analog output, VTEMP, delivers an analog output voltage which is inversely proportional to the measured temperature. Driving the TRIP TEST input high: (1) causes the digital out- puts to be asserted for in-situ verification and, (2) causes the threshold voltage to appear at the VTEMP output pin, which could be used to verify the temperature trip point. The LM26LV's low minimum supply voltage makes it ideal for 1.8 Volt system designs. Its wide operating range, low supply current , and excellent accuracy provide a temperature switch solution for a wide range of commercial and industrial appli- cations.
