SONIC-16 network interface controller is the second-generation Ethernet controller, specially designed to meet the demands of today's high-end 16-bit systems. Its system interface works with a high-speed DMA that typically consumes less than 8% of the bus bandwidth. Selectable bus modes provide both big-endian and little-endian byte ordering and a clean interface to standard microprocessors. SONIC-16's linked list buffer management system offers maximum flexibility in a variety of environments from PC-oriented adapters to high-speed motherboard designs. Furthermore, SONIC-16 integrates a fully compatible IEEE 802.3 Encoder-Decoder (ENDEC) allowing for a simple 2-chip solution for Ethernet when the SONIC-16 is paired with the DP8392 Coaxial Transceiver Interface. For increased performance, SONIC-16 implements a unique buffer management scheme to efficiently process receive and transmit packets in system memory. No intermediate packet copy is necessary. Receive buffer management uses three areas in memory for (1) allocating additional resources, (2) indicating status information, and (3) buffering packet data. During reception, SONIC-16 stores packets in the buffer area, then indicates receive status and control information in the descriptor area.

54F322 Octal Serial Parallel Register with Sign Extend is an 8-bit shift register from National Semiconductor Corporation, which can be loaded either in serial or parallel and has TRI-STATE parallel outputs and a bi-state serial output. Parallel data inputs and parallel outputs are multiplexed to minimize pin count. State changes are initiated by the rising edge of the clock. Four synchronous modes of operation are possible: hold (store), shift right with serial entry, shift right with sign extend and parallel load, and an asynchronous Master Reset (MR) input overrides clocked operation and clears the register.

LP3939 is an integrated power amplifier driver designed specifically for Qualcomm's MSM3xxx and MSM5xxx series. It provides an interface to the baseband processor to control two independent power amplifiers in dual band applications. By integrating the necessary discrete components, the LP3939 significantly reduces board space and component cost.

LP3876-ADJ is a 3A fast ultra low drop-out linear regulator from TI, operating from a +2.5V to +7.0V input supply. It has ultra low dropout voltage, low ground pin current, load regulation of 0.08%, 1µA quiescent current in shutdown mode, guaranteed output current of 3A DC, available in TO-263 and TO-220 packages, minimum output capacitor requirements, overtemperature/overcurrent protection, −40˚C to +125˚C junction temperature range. It is suitable for microprocessor power supplies, GTL, GTL+, BTL and SSTL bus terminators, DSP power supplies, SCSI terminator, post regulators, high efficiency linear regulators, battery chargers and other battery powered applications.

The NM27P512 is a 512K Processor Oriented EPROM configured as 64k x 8. It's designed to simplify microprocessor interfacing while remaining compatible with standard EPROMs. It can reduce both wait states and glue logic when the specification improvements are taken advantage of in the system design. The NM27P512 is implemented in National's advanced CMOS EPROM process to provide excellent reliability and access times as fast as 120 ns. The interface improvements address two areas to eliminate the need for additional devices to adapt the EPROM to the microprocessor and to eliminate wait states at the termination of the access cycle. Even with these improvements, the NM27P512 remains compatible with industry standard JEDEC pinout EPROMs. The maximum specification for output turn-off time has been reduced, eliminating the need for wait states at the end of a read cycle. Also, the minimum specification for output hold time has been increased, eliminating the need for external circuitry to hold the data.

CLC111 is a high performance, closed loop, monolithic buffer designed by National Semiconductor for applications requiring very high frequency signals. This device's high performance includes an extremely fast 800MHz small signal bandwidth (0.5pp) and an ultra high (3500V/µs) slew rate while requiring only 10.5mA quiescent current. Signal fidelity is maintained with low harmonic distortion (−62dBc 2nd and 3rd harmonics at 20MHz). These performance characteristics are for a demanding 100Ω load. Featuring a patented closed loop design, the CLC111 offers nearly ideal unity gain (0.996) with a very low (1.4Ω) output impedance. The CLC111 is ideally suited for buffering video signals with its 0.15%/0.04˚ differential gain and phase performance at 4.43MHz. Power sensitive applications will benefit from the CLC111's excellent performance on reduced or single supply voltages. These circuits have high noise immunity and low power consumption. They can be used as hex buffers, CMOS to DTL or TTL interface or CMOS current drivers.

The ADC088S102 is a low-power, eight-channel CMOS 8-bit analog-to-digital converter from ADI. This device is based on a successive-approximation register architecture with an internal track-and-hold circuit and supports conversion rates of 500 kSPS to 1 MSPS. It can be configured to accept up to eight input signals and outputs serial data in straight binary format. The ADC088S102 supports independent analog and digital supplies, with a range of +2.7V to +5.25V for the analog supply (VA) and a range of +2.7V to VA for the digital supply (VD). In normal operation, the device consumes 1.8 mW and 8.0 mW of power with a +3V or +5V supply, respectively. The power-down feature reduces the power consumption to 0.03 µW and 0.15 µW with a +3V and +5V supply, respectively. The ADC088S102 is packaged in a 16-lead TSSOP package and is guaranteed to operate over an extended industrial temperature range of -40˚C to +105˚C.

The LM2727/LM2737 N-Channel FET Synchronous Buck Regulator Controller for Low Output Voltages is a high-performance, synchronous switching regulator controller released by Texas Instruments. It adopts a fixed-frequency, voltage-mode, PWM control architecture and can adjust the switching frequency from 50kHz to 2MHz by adjusting an external resistor. The device uses non-overlapping MOSFET gate drivers and a high-side bootstrap structure to further improve efficiency. The input power is 2.2V to 16V and the output voltage can be adjusted to 0.6V.
