The ADC0808/ADC0809 is a monolithic CMOS device with an 8-bit analog-to-digital converter, 8-channel multiplexer, and microprocessor compatible control logic. It offers high speed, high accuracy, minimal temperature dependence, excellent long-term accuracy and repeatability, and consumes minimal power.

The ADC08100 is a low-power, 8-bit, monolithic analog-to-digital converter with an on-chip track-and-hold circuit. Optimized for low cost, low power, small size and ease of use, this product operates at conversion rates of 20 MSPS to 100 MSPS with outstanding dynamic performance over its full operating range while consuming just 1.3 mW per MHz of clock frequency. That’s just 130 mW of power at 100 MSPS. Raising the PD pin puts the ADC08100 into a Power Down mode where it consumes just 1 mW. The unique architecture achieves 7.4 Effective Bits with 41 MHz input frequency. The excellent DC and AC characteristics of this device, together with its low power consumption and single +3V supply operation, make it ideally suited for many imaging and communications applications, including use in portable equipment. Furthermore, the ADC08100 is resistant to latch-up and the outputs are short-circuit proof. The top and bottom of the ADC08100’s reference ladder are available for connections, enabling a wide range of input possibilities. The digital outputs are TTL/CMOS compatible with a separate output power supply pin to support interfacing with 3V or 2.5V logic. The digital inputs (CLK and PD) are TTL/CMOS compatible. The ADC08100 is offered in a 24-lead plastic package (TSSOP) and is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40˚C to +85˚C.

The ADC081000 is a low power, high performance CMOS analog-to-digital converter that digitizes signals to 8 bits resolution at sampling rates up to 1.6 GSPS while consuming a typical 1.4 Watts from a single 1.9 Volt supply at 1.0 GSPS.

The ADC081S051 is a low-power, single channel CMOS 8-bit analog-to-digital converter with a high-speed serial interface. It is fully specified over a sample rate range of 200 kSPS to 500 kSPS. The converter is based on a successive-approximation register architecture with an internal track-and-hold circuit. The output serial data is straight binary, and is compatible with several standards, such as SPI™, QSPI™, MICROWIRE, and many common DSP serial interfaces. The ADC081S051 operates with a single supply that can range from +2.7V to +5.25V. Normal power consumption using a +3V or +5V supply is 2.9 mW and 10.5 mW, respectively. The power-down feature reduces the power consumption to as low as 2.6 µW using a +5V supply. The ADC081S051 is packaged in an 6-lead LLP package. Operation over the industrial temperature range of −40˚C to +85˚C is guaranteed.

The converter is based upon a successive- approximation register architecture with an internal track- and-hold circuit. The output serial data is straight binary, and is compatible with several standards, such as SPI™, QSPI™, MICROWIRE, and many common DSP serial interfaces. The ADC081S021 operates with a single supply that can range from +2.7V to +5.25V. Normal power consumption using a +3.6V or +5.25V supply is 1.3 mW and 7.7 mW, respectively.

ADC0820 is a 8-bit high precision A/D converter with track/hold function produced by Microchip Technology. It uses a half-flash conversion technique and offers a 1.5µs conversion time and dissipates only 75mW of power. The ADC0820 has a built-in track-and-hold function and does not require an external sample-and-hold circuit. It can be used as a memory location or I/O port for easy interface with a microprocessor.

The ADC122S101 is a low-power, two-channel CMOS 12-bit analog-to-digital converter with a high-speed serial interface. It is fully specified over a sample rate range of 500 kSPS to 1 MSPS. The converter is based on a successive-approximation register architecture with an internal track-and-hold circuit. It can be configured to accept one or two input signals at inputs IN1 and IN2. The output serial data is straight binary, and is compatible with several standards, such as SPI™, QSPI™, MICROW- IRE, and many common DSP serial interfaces. The ADC122S101 operates with a single supply that can range from +2.7V to +5.25V. Normal power consumption using a +3V or +5V supply is 4.3 mW and 13.1 mW, respec- tively. The power-down feature reduces the power consump- tion to just 0.14 µW using a +3V supply, or 0.32 µW using a +5V supply. The ADC122S101 is packaged in an 8-lead MSOP package. Operation over the industrial temperature range of −40˚C to +85˚C is guaranteed.
