MAXIM MAX3882A Manual
The MAX3882A is a 2.488Gbps 1:4 demultiplexer with clock and data recovery and limiting amplifier ideal for converting 2.488Gbps serial data to 4-bit-wide, 622Mbps parallel data for SDH/SONET applications
MAXIM MAX9205/MAX9207 Manual
The MAX9205/MAX9207 serializers transform 10-bit-wide parallel LVCMOS/LVTTL data into a serial high-speed bus low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) data stream. The serializers typically pair with deserializers like the MAX9206/MAX9208, which receive the serial output and transform it back to 10-bit-wide parallel data. The MAX9205/MAX9207 transmit serial data at speeds up to 400Mbps and 660Mbps, respectively, over PCB traces or twisted-pair cables. Since the clock is recovered from the serial data stream, clock-to-data and data-to-data skew that would be present with a parallel bus are eliminated. The serializers require no external components and few control signals. The input data strobe edge is selected by TCLK_R/F. PWRDN is used to save power when the devices are not in use. Upon power-up, a synchronization mode is activated, which is controlled by two SYNC inputs, SYNC1 and SYNC2. The MAX9205 can lock to a 16MHz to 40MHz system clock, while the MAX9207 can lock to a 40MHz to 66MHz system clock. The serializer output is held in high impedance until the device is fully locked to the local system clock, or when the device is in power-down mode. Both the devices operate from a single +3.3V supply, are specified for operation from -40°C to +85°C, and are available in 28-pin SSOP packages.
MAXIM MAX9206/MAX9208 Manual
MAX9206/MAX9208 are TI's high-speed serial bus low-voltage differential signaling (BLVDS) data stream deserializers that transform 10-bit-wide parallel LVCMOS/LVTTL data and clock into a serial BLVDS signal.
MAXIM MAX9209/9213 Manual
The MAX9209/MAX9213 is a serializer produced by TI. It supports 21-bit LVTTL/LVCMOS parallel input data and outputs three LVDS signals. A fourth LVDS signal provides a deserialization clock. The product has a programmable DC balance function, which can achieve isolation between the serializer and the deserializer using AC coupling. The DC balance circuit on each channel encodes the data, limiting the imbalance of transmitted 1s and 0s to a defined range. The companion MAX9210/MAX9214 deserializers decode the data. When DC balance is not programmed, the serializers are compatible with non-DC-balanced, 21-bit serializers such as the DS90CR215 and DS90CR217. Two frequency ranges and two DC-balance default conditions are available for maximum replacement flexibility and compatibility with existing non-DC-balanced serializers. MAX9209/MAX9213 is available in TSSOP and space-saving TQFN packages.
MAXIM MAX9217 Manual(1)
The MAX9217 is a digital video parallel-to-serial converter that serializes 27 bits of parallel data into a serial data stream. It encodes and multiplexes 18 bits of video data and 9 bits of control data onto the serial interface, reducing the serial data rate. The MAX9217 pairs with the MAX9218 deserializer to form a complete digital video serial link. Interconnect can be controlled-impedance PCB traces or twisted-pair cable. Proprietary data encoding reduces EMI and provides DC balance. DC balance allows AC-coupling, providing isolation between the transmitting and receiving ends of the interface. The LVDS output is internally terminated with 100Ω. ESD tolerance is specified for ISO 10605 with ±10kV contact discharge and ±30kV air discharge. The MAX9217 operates from a +3.3V core supply and features a separate input supply for interfacing to 1.8V to 3.3V logic levels. This device is available in 48-lead Thin QFN and LQFP packages and is specified from -40°C to +85°C. Applications include navigation system display, in-vehicle entertainment system, video camera, and LCD displays.
MAXIM MAX9218 Manual
The MAX9218 is a digital video serial-to-parallel converter from Texas Instruments. It can deserialize 27 bits of data and control signals into 18 bits of parallel video data and 9 bits of parallel control data, so that the video and control signals can be separated and the data transmission rate can be reduced. When paired with the MAX9217 serializer, the MAX9218 forms a complete digital video transmission system. The MAX9218 uses a proprietary decoding method that reduces EMI and provides DC balance. DC balance allows AC coupling, which provides isolation between the transmitting and receiving ends of the interface. The MAX9218 also features a selectable rising or falling edge output latch. The MAX9218 meets the ISO 10605 standard and has ±10kV contact discharge and ±30kV air discharge ESD tolerance. The MAX9218 operates from a +3.3V core supply and features a separate output supply for interfacing to 1.8V to 3.3V logic-level inputs. The MAX9218 is available in 48-lead Thin QFN and LQFP packages and has a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

MAXIM MAX9223/9224 Manual
MAX9223/MAX9224 are 22-bit serializer/deserializer chipsets from Maxim that use low-current differential signaling (LCDS) for low EMI, high common-mode noise immunity, and ground-shift tolerance. They are ideal for cell phones, LCDs, and digital cameras.
MAXIM MAX9225/9226 Manual
The MAX9225/MAX9226 is a serializer/deserializer chipset ideal for serializing the parallel interface of cell phone cameras. It can serialize 10-bit data onto a single differential pair, reducing wiring. Ten bits are serialized in each cycle of the parallel input clock, resulting in a net serial-data rate of 100Mbps to 200Mbps. The MAX9225 serializes the 8-bit YUV, HSYNC, and VSYNC outputs from a camera mounted in the flip part of the phone, reducing wiring through the hinge to the baseband processor in the base of the phone. The 2-wire serial interface uses low-current differential signaling (LCDS) for low EMI, high common-mode noise immunity, and ground-shift tolerance. In case of signal interruption, the MAX9225/MAX9226 automatically identifies the word boundary in the serial data. The MAX9226 power-down is controlled by the MAX9225. The MAX9225/MAX9226 consume 3.5µA or less in power-down mode. The MAX9225 serializer operates from a single +2.375V to +3.465V supply and accepts +1.71V to +3.465V inputs. The MAX9226 deserializer operates from a +2.375V to +3.465V core supply and has a separate output buffer supply (VDDO), allowing +1.71V to +3.465V output high levels. The MAX9225/MAX9226 are specified over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range and are available in 16-pin TQFN (3mm x 3mm x 0.8mm) packages with an exposed paddle.
